departmental organization.

despite implied communist tendencies, i encourage some form of departmental organization for this project. that way, when ian can't make a meeting, for example, members of his department can catch him up at a later date. we talked briefly about this on sunday, but i think we should actually codify it.

i feel, nay, perceive the following departments:

camera: responsible for footage, related equipment, lighting, etc.

sound: responsible for onset sound design, including actively working with the lighting crew to avoid boom shadows IN PREPRODUCTION.

art department: wardrobe and set design. a mish mash to be sure, but art needs to work with lighting as well to synchronize a set.

this may be selfish, but i don't want to think about wardrobe or sound. i want to feel light of varying color temperature rippling down the side, nay, both sides of my cock. organizing this way means that individuals, even if they belong to more than one department, can separate tasks and priorities in their heads. instead of relying on busy producers to do it for them.
